Alexis Powell is a voice, video, and performance artist living in Brooklyn, NY. Her one-woman choir, Hearsay & Hyperbole, sings of memory, dreams, and desire. Powell is currently finishing a MA in Drama Therapy at NYU, where she has been researching the ways in which we perform our multiple intersecting identities both to ourselves and one another.

Brooklyn’s Glass Anchors are the bittersweet anthems of Annie Sicherman. The stuff of long dusty roads and late-night reverie. Like opening a box of old letters you found under your bed.
